“WELL PLACED WILD”

25
NOVEMBER, 2016
It was a day filled with an overflowing array of rich burgundies and musky pinks. Creating the perfect framework for each and every moment, all of which exuded sentiments of love and gratefulness.

On a crisp spring morning in late November 2017 a gorgeous brunette woke up with a sense of excitement and nerves, which could have had her leap out of bed should she have allowed them to take control. Today was the day that she and her soon to be hubby had been looking forward to for so long.

Attention had been paid to the finer details and every ounce of energy spent was to ensure that their guests would have an amazing experience and that they would have memories to cherish for a lifetime. A trait the couple both embody is putting others first and one that is lovely to witness during the preparation for a wedding.

With a sense of “well placed wild” to the whole event guests were treated to soft pink hues and cool greens with splashes of bold reds throughout the many floral points of the day. The arbor draped beautifully down one side as the bride walked beneath it towards the love of her life and his cheeky little grin all the while her radiant smile beaming right back at him, laced with a similar red to the shades in her bouquet.

While these two only had eyes for each other they were flanked by their closest friends, the boys choosing a simple natural stemmed button hole and the girls complimenting the bride in every way possible from the rich colours of their dresses to their slightly smaller yet just as spectacular bouquets and gorgeous smiles.

Once love had been declared in front of their nearest and dearest, guests were treated to a most visually appetizing array inside the Barrel Room at Peppers Creek where they would then have their reception. The room is focused towards the bridal table and the incredible hanging installation above it offset only by the soft lighting of the hanging glass candle holders. With the sandstone fireplace and the floor to ceiling barrels holding years of heritage the picture is complete. As your eyes fall back from this incredible piece you can follow the trail of moss along the guests tables smattered with simple little posies of colour held safely in crystal vases then adorned with large gold stands holding wild arrangements of all things beautiful.

Whilst the wild arrangements resembled their love, secretly every stem had it’s place in each arrangement many moons before. This is the only way to ensure that the bride and groom would have every wish fulfilled on their big day.

It’s all in the details
